My pup likes to potty all the time by HMX
I know I recently spoke of progress, and this post isn’t meant to contradict what was previously said, but it has come to my realization that Oppie (for such a small animal) has impressive bladder capacity. I still hold firm to my belief that he is marking what he perceives to be his territory, but egads. I can take him outside, watch him expel a huge puddle of fluid only to come in and seconds later try to expel more in some new location. He got a bit of a surprise today, as I was waiting for him to do just that, and he found himself on the patio for a bit of time sans humans.Ever since I let him back in, he has been a sad little patheti-puppy, moping about looking sad because I decided him the pleasure of my foot. Lucky for him, Blythe was a bit more forthcoming with sympathy, but he wasn’t interested in her forgiveness. It all really is quite fascinating how he feels the need to please me. This usually involves much licking of my feat and today evolved into some odd fascination with my crouch. Now he is sleeping on the floor waiting for me to retire to the bedroom before going there himself. He is such a funny little pup, I highly recommend that everyone should invest in a dog of their own. They can be frustrating at times, but they are well worth it. You just have to remember that no matter how cute they are, you are the boss and they have to obey the pecking order. Now to see how he behaves himself tomorrow.
