Yesterday Oppie discovered stairs, in all of their glorious wonder. We decided to have an impromptu barbecue, and having no grill of my own, I invited a few friends to join me at a friends house. One of the occupants of the house is a rather large cat by the name of Kyo, and Oppie was all to eager to play with this new friend of his who wanted nothing more than to be left alone. Being a bit dense in that department, Oppie didn’t catch the hint and assumed that Kyo was engaging him in a game of chase that lead tot he top of a set of winding stairs. When I was climbing up the stairs earlier today
I never needed anybody’s help in any way
But now I’ve reached the top, I’m not so self-assured
I’ve come to find, I’ve changed my mind, I’m clawing at the floor
Help me if you can in getting down
I do appreciate you being around
I’d like to get my feet back on the ground
